100 trains stopped midway due to heavy rain

According to a Northern Railway statement, train services were affected on Ambala, Delhi, Firozpur and Moradabad divisions due to incessant rains and inclement weather in Delhi, Punjab, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh and Jammu and Kashmir. For the guidance of passengers, ‘Help Desk’ has been arranged at all major railway stations.

According to the statement of Northern Railway, Indian Railways is alerting passengers by making regular announcements regarding cancellation of trains, cancellation before scheduled destination, change of route, commencement of journey at the affected stations.
