The S&P BSE Small-Cap index rose 0.44%, while the S&P BSE Mid-Cap index rose 0.60% in the overall market. Market breath remained strong as 2031 scrips advanced on BSE. Today the prices of 1076 shares declined and there was no change in the price of 158 shares. Investors’ focus is still on US inflation data. It’s coming this week. Along with this, the results of the assembly elections of Karnataka and the results of more than 300 companies are also being monitored.

Kansai Nerolac Paints: The Company informed the Exchange that it has approved the proposal for declaration of Bonus Equity Shares in the ratio of 1:2, subject to the approval of the shareholders of the Company. Shares of Kansai Nerolac Paints gained 4% and are trading at Rs 417.20 per share.

Pennar Industries: The company informed the exchange that it has received orders worth Rs 682 crore across its various business verticals. Shares of Pennar Industries today gained 2% to Rs.74.90 per share.

Sirka Paints India: The firm informed that the Board has recommended the issue of Bonus Shares in the ratio of 1:1 i.e. 1 (one) Bonus Equity Share of Rs.10 for every 1 (one) fully paid-up Equity Share held. The company has fixed a record date of Thursday, May 11, 2023 for this.
