New Delhi: TVS Motor shares have given blockbuster returns to its investors in the last 10 years. During this period, its shares have gained more than 3,100 percent. If an investor had invested Rs 10,000 in it 10 years ago, it would have been worth Rs 3 lakh today. In the last three years, this stock has gained 174% while in five years it has given 67% returns. TVS Motor is a largecap company with a market cap of over Rs 60,000 crore. It is a well-known company in the world manufacturing two-wheelers and three-wheelers. Its business is spread across 80 countries. On Friday, the company’s stock closed at Rs 1342.65, down 0.21 per cent on the BSE.
It has an EPS of 31.38 on TTM basis and is currently trading at a price to book value of 10.55. As per the latest shareholding pattern available with the exchange, promoters hold 50.27 per cent in the company while the remaining 49.73 per cent is held by public shareholders. Of the public shareholders, 18.24 per cent stake is held by mutual funds and about 18 per cent by foreign investors. In the June quarter, the company’s net profit was up 49 per cent at Rs 410 crore, while revenue jumped 19 per cent to Rs 6,605 crore.how far will the price go

Analysts say the stock is on consolidation mode. They say that if it declines then it makes sense to buy it. It had touched Rs 1,384.55 on June 12, which was its 52-week high. Its 52-week low is Rs 837.25. Vaibhav Kaushik, Research Analyst, GSL Broking said that if it sustains in the range of Rs 1280 to Rs 1300 then it can be bought with a target price of Rs 1515. The stop loss for this can be Rs 1266.
