Under-19 women cricketers learned the tricks of the game from Dhoni

New Delhi (Best Hindu News): Former Indian cricket team captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni guided young talents at a workshop for U-19 women cricketers organized by Mastercard.
The ‘Cricket Clinic-MSD’ workshop was held at the iconic Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai on February 12, where Dhoni took part in a training session with 15 players.
Apart from sharing his experience on the field, Dhoni also gave many important tips to the girls. The players were selected through a social media competition organized by Mastercard for young women cricketers.
During the workshop, Dhoni guided the players on handling stress, building a career in cricket, maintaining fitness, planning right and other aspects. He also taught batting and wicketkeeping basics to the young players.
Dhoni said after the workshop, “India has always been a sporting superpower and women cricketers today are breaking barriers with their consistent performances and strong determination. My interactions with several women cricketers during the MasterCard Cricket Clinic-MSD have deepened my belief in the future of women’s cricket in India. I am excited to partner with Mastercard to advance women in the field of sports and provide them with an invaluable experience.”
