At the global level, many research works are being done on the functioning of the Sangh in many countries, how this organization has been flourishing during its long tenure of 97 years and how it has been able to take all the sections of the society along with it. Today, when the seeds of separatism are sown in many countries and brother is being fought with brother, in such an environment, the Sangh has been successful in awakening the feeling of social harmony among the citizens of India by developing a sense of nationalism.

The Sangh is moving forward with the aim of organizing the entire Hindu society. The feeling of untouchability in the Sangh has ended long ago because people of all castes work under one flag in the Sangh.

In recent times, the work of the Sangh has spread very rapidly across the country. Of the daily shakhas, 61 per cent are student shakhas and 39 per cent are business shakhas. From the point of view of the union, there are 6506 blocks across the country, out of which more than 84 percent blocks have shakhas. In more than 41 percent of the 59,000 mandals, the Sangh has direct branch functions. Out of 2303 urban areas, the work of shakhas is going on in 94 percent of the cities and efforts are being made to have Sangh shakhas in all mandals in the coming two years. On the occasion of the centenary year of the Sangh, a target has also been set to take the Sangh work to one lakh places. From 2017 to 2022, about 1 lakh to 1.25 lakh youth in the age group of 20 to 35 have expressed their desire to join the Sangh every year through the Join RSS website.
During the Corona epidemic, the volunteers of the Sangh actively worked together with the society. About 5.50 lakh volunteers started service work from the very first day of the pandemic and actively cooperated with the society throughout. India is the only country in the world, where a large number of maths, temples and gurudwaras came out for service work. These are the signs of an aware nation. Along with this, the work of religious awakening, agricultural development, environmental protection, family enlightenment, cow-culture and rural development is being carried out in a very good quantity and at a good pace by the Sangh.
In recent times, efforts have also been made by the Sangh to do some innovative work in the interest of the country by taking along the organizations doing social, religious, economic and service work. Swavalamban program has been started with the sacred aim of reducing unemployment in the country and making the citizens of the country self-reliant. Under this program, along with providing inspiration to the unemployed youth to start their own business, necessary information is also provided in this regard. In the local areas of some states, through a comprehensive survey, an attempt was also made to find out what kind of employment is required in these local areas and what kind of cottage and small scale industries can be started in these areas so that By starting these industries by these unemployed youths in these areas, new employment opportunities can be created for other youths as well. At the same time, local industries were also urged to make efforts to provide employment to the local people only so that the migration of youth from these areas could be stopped. Efforts are also being made to develop skills among the youth at the local level under the Swavalamban Yojana. Similarly, we see that the Sangh is playing an important role in the all-round development and national upliftment of the country.
