Internet Desk. If you also go to the market for some work and buy some goods, you pay for it through UPI. That means through phone pay, Paytm or Google pay. But now these are going to be closed in the new year and the government has also brought new rules for this. In such a situation, you may have to face problems. But if you follow these rules then you will not face any problem.

Actually, after December 31, UPI will block those IDs from which no transaction has been done in the last year. National Payments Corporation of India has announced new guidelines that will deactivate your UPI ID. All banks and third-party apps like Phone Pay, Paytm or Google Pay are going to block those UPI IDs in which no transaction has been done for more than a year.

According to media reports, if no credit or debit has been done from your UPI ID then the ID will be closed. From the new year, customers will not be able to transact with these IDs. NPCI has given time till December 31 to banks and third-party apps to identify these UPI IDs.
