According to DLB Director, now the menu will include pickles along with chapatti, pulses, vegetables, rice, millets and khichdi etc.
According to media reports, the total weight of the contents of the plate has been fixed at 600 grams. Let us tell you that under Indira Rasoi Yojana, the total weight of the ingredients in the plate was fixed at 450 grams. Now the total weight of ingredients per plate served in Shri Annapurna Rasoi Yojana has been fixed at 600 grams. The government subsidy has been increased from Rs 17 to Rs 22 per plate.
