Uttarakhand Chief Minister calls upon British companies to explore investment opportunities in the state – Dainik Savera Times

London: Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami invited British companies and institutions for the ‘Destination Uttarakhand Global Investors Summit’ to be held in Dehradun and called upon them to explore investment opportunities in the state. ‘Destination Uttarakhand Global Investors Summit’ will be organized in Dehradun on December 8-9.
During the road show in London on Tuesday, the Dhami-led delegation also signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) worth Rs 1,000 crore with construction company Usha Bracco. The delegation underlined the benefits of investment in the state in sectors ranging from tourism, pharmaceuticals to auto parts and education.
Chief Minister Dhami said, “I am here in Britain to explore opportunities for greater economic and cultural cooperation between the United Nations and Uttarakhand. He said that when you come to Uttarakhand, every path will take you to a new destination. The world center of Yoga and Ayurveda is located in the state and Dev Bhoomi Uttarakhand also has a deep connection with Hindu religion.
Dhami said, “Our aim is to establish the state of Uttarakhand as the fastest growing economy in India while maintaining its unique natural and cultural heritage. A similar road show will be organized in Birmingham today i.e. on Wednesday. Dhami is on a four-day visit to Britain.
