Vande Bharat Express has a pantograph on the roof of every other coach. But the height of the electric wires on the Delhi-Jaipur route is high. Hence the Integral Coach Factory (ICF) is using tall pantographs for the Vande Bharat Express running on the Delhi-Jaipur route. Ashwini Vaishnav went to Jaipur to take stock of the preparations being made for this Vande Bharat Express. The new Vande Bharat Express is expected to reach Jaipur by the end of this week. North Western Railway zone has asked IRCTC to make provision for onboard catering in the new train.

The Delhi-Jaipur Vande Bharat Express will be the 11th such train. This will be Rajasthan’s first and Delhi’s fourth Vande Bharat train. Presently Vande Bharat train runs from Delhi to Varanasi, Katra and Amb Andaura.
