The country’s 12th Vande Bharat Express is going to meet South India. According to sources, this train can be run between Chennai to Coimbatore. It is believed that Prime Minister Narendra Modi can flag off this train on April 8. This will be the second Vande Bharat train to run from Chennai. At present Vande Bharat train runs from Chennai to Mysore. Maximum four Vande Bharat Express have been run in Maharashtra. But Vande Bharat has not been started in many states till now. These include Bihar and Jharkhand as well. There is a plan to run the 11th Vande Bharat train between Delhi and Jaipur.
Chennai-Coimbatore Vande Bharat Express is a chair car coached train and will run on the route of Shatabdi Express. Railways have not yet decided its stoppages. Shatabdi Express running on this route stops at four stations. Southern Railway has selected either Madurai or Coimbatore for the next Vande Bharat Express to run from Chennai. Railways is still running Vande Bharat Express on Shatabdi route. But in the coming days, it can also be run on the capital route. Currently 10 Vande Bharat Express are running in the country. The 11th train can be run on the Delhi-Jaipur route in the next few days.
