This will benefit the pilgrims who want to visit Lord Venkateswara in Tirupati.
Secunderabad-Tirupati Vande Bharat
This will be the second Vande Bharat train between Telangana and Andhra Pradesh. Earlier Vande Bharat Express was started between Secunderabad to Visakhapatnam. This train has been very successful and is running with 100% occupancy. There is a huge demand for passengers to start Vande Bharat for Tirupati. Thousands of pilgrims reach Tirumala every day. Presently Secunderabad-Trivandrum Sabari Express and Lingampalli-Tirupati Narayandri Express go to Tirupati via Guntur. This journey takes 12 hours. Vande Bharat Express will cover this route in less than nine hours. According to South Central Railway sources, this train can be run via Bibinagar and Guntur.
Chennai-Coimbatore Vande Bharat
The Chennai-Coimbatore Vande Bharat Express will be the second Vande Bharat train to operate from Chennai. At present Vande Bharat train runs from Chennai to Mysore. Chennai-Coimbatore Vande Bharat Express is a chair car coached train and will run on the route of Shatabdi Express. Shatabdi Express running on this route stops at four stations. Railways is still running Vande Bharat Express on Shatabdi route. But in the coming days, it can also be run on the capital route. At present 11 Vande Bharat Express are running in the country. The first train was run from Delhi to Varanasi while the first Vande Bharat of the new age ran from Mumbai to Ahmedabad.
