Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday held five simultaneous meetings from Bhopal, the capital of Madhya Pradesh. Vande Bharat Trains was flagged off. These trains will run between Rani Kamlapati (Bhopal)-Jabalpur, Khajuraho-Bhopal, Madgaon (Goa)-Mumbai, Dharwad-Bangalore and Hatia-Patna. 1. New Delhi-Varanasi Vande Bharat Express: The first Vande Bharat train was flagged off on 15 February 2019 on the New Delhi-Kanpur-Allahabad-Varanasi route. This train runs on five days except Monday and Thursday. The train departs from New Delhi Railway Station at 06:00 AM and reaches Varanasi at 02:00 PM covering a distance of 759 kms. The fare for an AC chair seat is Rs 1,287, while the cost of an executive chair car ticket is Rs 2,661.

2. New Delhi – Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Katra (Jammu and Kashmir) Vande Bharat Express: ​​This Vande Bharat train runs between New Delhi station and Katra, the base camp of Mata Vaishno Devi, covering the distance in eight hours. The train runs on six days except Tuesday. The train departs from New Delhi Railway Station at 06:00 AM and reaches Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Katra at 02:00 PM. The fare for an AC chair seat is Rs 1,154, while the cost of an executive chair car ticket is Rs 2,375.

3. Gandhinagar-Mumbai Vande Bharat Express:This Vande Bharat Express was recently launched by PM Modi on September 30, 2022. This train runs on six days except Sunday. The train departs from Mumbai Central at 06:00 am and reaches Gandhinagar Capital station at 12:25 pm, covering a distance of 522 km. The AC chair fare is Rs 974, while the executive chair car ticket costs Rs 2,018.

4. New Delhi – Amb Andaura Himachal Pradesh Vande Bharat Express:The train runs on six days except Friday. The train departs from New Delhi Railway Station at 05:50 am and reaches Amb Andaura at 11:05 am. The fare for an AC chair seat is Rs 832, while the cost of an executive chair car ticket is Rs 1,708.

5. Chennai-Mysuru Vande Bharat Express: The train runs on six days except Wednesday. Departs Chennai at 05:50 am and reaches Mysuru Jn at 12:20 pm, covering a distance of 401 km. The base fare for an AC chair seat is Rs 922, while the cost of an executive chair car ticket is Rs 1,884.

6. Nagpur-Bilaspur Vande Bharat Express:This train runs between Nagpur in Maharashtra and Bilaspur in Chhattisgarh. The train runs on six days except Saturday. The train departs from Nagpur Railway Station at 02:05 PM and reaches Bilaspur at 07:35 PM. This train has been temporarily replaced by Tejas Express from 14 May 2023 due to less occupancy on this route.

7. Howrah-New Jalpaiguri Vande Bharat Express: The train runs on six days except Wednesday. The train leaves Howrah Junction at 05:55 am and reaches New Jalpaiguri at 01:25 am, covering a distance of 454 km in seven hours and thirty minutes. The base fare for an AC chair seat is Rs 1,044, while an executive chair car ticket costs Rs 2,142.

8. Secunderabad-Visakhapatnam Vande Bharat Express: ​​The train runs between Secunderabad in Telangana and the port city of Visakhapatnam in Andhra Pradesh. The train runs on six days except Sunday. The train departs from Secunderabad Junction at 03:00 PM and reaches Visakhapatnam Railway Station at 11:30 PM. 11. Hazrat Nizamuddin of Delhi-Rani Kamlapati station of Bhopal Vande Bharat Express: Runs from Bhopal to Hazrat Nizamuddin station. This train covers a distance of 700 km in seven hours 45 minutes. It operates on six days except Saturday. It departs from Bhopal at 05:55 AM and reaches Delhi at 01:45 PM. 13. Chennai-Coimbatore Vande Bharat Express :This Vande Bharat train covers the distance of 495 km between Chennai and Coimbatore in six hours and 10 minutes. 14. Ajmer-Delhi Cantt Vande Bharat Express: The train leaves Delhi Cantt at 06:40 pm and reaches Ajmer at 11:45 pm covering a distance of 454 km in five hours and fifteen minutes. It is also the world’s first semi-high-speed passenger train on high-rise overhead electric (OHE) territory. The base fare for an AC chair seat is Rs 813, while the cost of an executive chair car ticket is Rs 1,674.

15. Thiruvananthapuram-Kasaragod Vande Bharat Express: The train runs on six days except Thursday. It departs from Thiruvananthapuram at 05:20 AM and reaches Kasaragod at 1:25 PM. Meanwhile, the train leaves Kasargod at 02.30 pm and reaches Thiruvananthapuram at 10:35 pm. It covers the 586 km long journey in eight hours and five minutes stopping at 14 railway stations. 16. Puri-Howrah Vande Bharat Express: ​​It operates six days a week (except Thursday). 17. Dehradun – Delhi’s Anand Vihar Terminal Vande Bharat Express: ​It operates six days a week except Wednesday. It departs from Dehradun at 07:00 AM and reaches Delhi’s Anand Vihar Terminal at 11:45 AM. The fare for an AC chair seat from Delhi to Dehradun will be Rs 1,065, while the cost of an executive chair car ticket is Rs 1,890.

18. Guwahati-New Jalpaiguri Vande Bharat Express: It operates six days a week except Tuesday. It departs from Guwahati at 04:30 PM and reaches New Jalpaiguri at 10:00 PM. The base fare for an AC chair seat from Guwahati to New Jalpaiguri will be Rs 788, while the cost of an executive chair car ticket is Rs 1,613.

19. Rani Kamlapati (Bhopal)-Jabalpur Vande Bharat Express: This semi-high speed train will connect Madhya Pradesh Mahakaushal region (Jabalpur) to Central region (Bhopal). Madhya Pradesh’s second semi-high speed train will run at a speed of 130 kmph between the two cities. The train is expected to be around thirty minutes faster than the existing fastest train on the route.

20. Khajuraho-Bhopal-Indore Vande Bharat Express: The third semi-high speed train of Madhya Pradesh will operate between Malwa region (Indore), Bundelkhand region (Khajuraho) and Central region (Bhopal) of the state.

21. Mumbai- Madgaon (Goa) Vande Bharat Express: It will operate between Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus in Mumbai and Madgaon station in Goa. This train will operate six days a week except Friday.

22. Dharwad-Bengaluru Vande Bharat Express: ​​Karnataka is about to get another semi-high speed Blue-White train that will connect major cities like Dharwad, Hubli and Davanagere with the state capital Bengaluru. This will be the second Vande Bharat train for Karnataka as the first train runs between Chennai, Bengaluru and Mysuru.

23. Hatia-Patna Vande Bharat Express: This semi-high speed train will be the first Vande Bharat for Jharkhand and Bihar. The route chart is not confirmed but as per the buzz, the train is likely to run via Tatisilwai, Barkakana, Hazaribagh, Koderma and Gaya. This is expected to save about one hour and twenty five minutes in travel time.
