The Prime Minister may also flag off the Secunderabad-Tirupati Vande Bharat Express on the same day. There is always a huge demand on this route. This will be the second Vande Bharat train between Telangana and Andhra Pradesh. Earlier Vande Bharat Express was started between Secunderabad to Visakhapatnam. Expressing unhappiness over the pace of production of Vande Bharat trains, a parliamentary committee recently said that against the target of 35 rakes for the year 2023, only eight rakes could be manufactured.
