Vande Bharat Express: The Modi government at the center is going to give the gift of Vande Bharat Express train to one more state of the country soon. Vande Bharat Express may be inaugurated between Bengaluru and Hyderabad this month. This will be the third Vande Bharat train for the state of Karnataka. It is noteworthy that earlier two Vande Bharat trains were running between Chennai-Bengaluru-Mysuru and Bengaluru-Hubli in the state. According to the report of Deccan Herald, this time the Vande Bharat train which will be flagged off will run from Bangalore’s Yesvantpur Railway Station to Hyderabad’s Kachiguda Railway Station. This train can significantly reduce the travel time between cities with IT hubs in the south.

When will Vande Bharat Express train run between Bangalore and Hyderabad

According to media reports, soon Vande Bharat Express will start between Bangalore and Hyderabad. However, no clear date has been announced for its inauguration. Nor has any official information been given. As many IT professionals, businessmen and students travel regularly between Bengaluru and Hyderabad, Vande Bharat is expected to make train travel faster and more comfortable, reports Deccan Herald.

The first Vande Bharat train ran in the state in November 2022

Significantly, earlier in the month of November last year, PM Narendra Modi had launched the Vande Bharat train between Mysore and Chennai. This was the first such train in South India. The average speed of the Chennai-Mysuru Vande Bharat Express service is between 75 to 77 kmph. The distance between the two cities is approximately 504 km and it takes approximately six and a half hours to reach Mysuru from Chennai.

Vande Bharat running in 24 states and union territories of the country

Let us tell you, currently Vande Bharat trains are running in 24 states and union territories of the country. Of these, Kasaragod-Trivandrum Express has 183 per cent bookings and is also the best performing Vande Bharat train. Vande Bharat trains running between Gandhinagar-Mumbai Central, Varanasi-New Delhi, Dehradun-Amritsar and Mumbai-Sholapur also have more than 100 per cent booking.

Vande Bharat train started in the country

The country’s first Vande Bharat train was flagged off on 15 February 2019 on the New Delhi-Kanpur-Allahabad-Varanasi route. This train runs on five days except Monday and Thursday. The train departs from New Delhi Railway Station at 6 am and reaches Varanasi at 2 pm after covering a distance of 759 km. The fare for an AC chair seat is Rs 1,287, while the fare for an executive chair car ticket is Rs 2,661. Just look at the list in which states Vande Bharat train runs.
