Vande Bharat trains get flight like system after garbage video goes viral

New Delhi: Vande Bharat express is one of the dream projects of Indian Railways. Recently, a video became very viral on social media. In this video the reality of filth inside Vande Bharat trains was shown. Railway has taken a big step after this video went viral. Railway Minister has taken a big step regarding cleanliness in Vande Bharat trains. Now these trains will be cleaned under a flight-like system.

Be it Rajdhani, Shatabdi or Vande Bharat Express or other long distance trains, it is common to see littering near dustbins. Passengers also complain about this, but often this problem is not resolved during the journey. Many a times, the sweeper drops it on the railway track due to which the dirt spreads there. A few hours after the video went viral on social media, Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav made a tweet. Sharing the video in the tweet, he told that the cleaning process has been changed in Vande Bharat trains. The process of cleaning the coaches in these trains is being changed.

Flight-like arrangement now cleaning in Vande Bharat trains

The Railway Minister said that flight-like arrangements are now being adopted for cleaning in Vande Bharat trains. To solve this problem, now the railway sweeper will go near the passengers and collect the garbage. Gradually this system will be implemented in other trains as well. The Railway Minister has instructed the railway officials that like in an aeroplane, Vande Bharat trains will also collect garbage by going near the seat. This method is being adopted to improve the cleaning system in long distance trains. Under this, on-board house keeping facility has been provided. The cleaning staff will regularly move around in the coach with bags of garbage. This will help the passengers to throw the garbage.

Eight Vande Bharat trains are running in the country. Railways is working on a plan to flag off one to two Vande Bharat trains every month. The turnaround time in these trains is very less, so this new arrangement will help in establishing cleanliness. Cleanliness will be ensured in bogies and coaches. In the coming days, the number of trains like Vande Bharat will increase, so the new system will make the journey more comfortable.
