San Francisco (Uttam Hindu News): Meta-owned messaging platform WhatsApp is rolling out landscape mode support for video calls, silent unknown caller option and more widely on iOS. The company has mentioned in the official changelog, video calls now support landscape mode. Apart from this, users can go to the privacy of the settings and click on the call option and choose Silent Unknown Caller. The platform is also introducing the ability to seamlessly transfer full account history when switching to a new device. This functionality can be accessed by navigating to Chats in Settings and clicking Transfer Chats on the iPhone.
A redesigned sticker tray with improved navigation and a larger set of stickers including more avatars are also being rolled out with the new update. The company said that all these features will start rolling out in the coming weeks. Beginning this month, the messaging platform is widely rolling out a revamped interface that features translucent tab bars and navigation bars on iOS.
The Meta-owned platform is also rolling out a redesigned sticker and graphic picker on iOS. Meanwhile, last week, it was reported that the company is rolling out a feature on the iOS beta that allows users to start group calls with up to 15 people. With the new feature, beta users can now start group calls with up to 15 people. Earlier this month, the company was reportedly rolling out a feature on the iOl beta that allows users to send high-quality videos.
