Will Nitish-Tejashwi-Mamata and Akhilesh really be able to come together before the Lok Sabha elections?

However, there are still many hurdles in coming together of these four parties. Nitish Kumar and Lalu Yadav have got together in Bihar, but the question is what will be the role of Congress in this new alliance? Will Mamta Banerjee be ready to give center stage to Congress as Nitish Kumar wants?
Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar along with his Deputy Chief Minister and Rashtriya Janata Dal National President Lalu Prasad Yadav’s son Tejashwi Yadav recently went to Kolkata to meet West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee and met Samajwadi Party National President Akhilesh Yadav in Lucknow. Efforts have been made to indicate the formation of a big alliance against Modi. If these four leaders unite completely before the Lok Sabha elections, then it is believed to have a direct impact on the politics of three big states of the country- Uttar Pradesh, Bihar and West Bengal. Even though the BJP is not considering these meetings as a big threat for itself at the moment, but it also has a very good idea of the seriousness of this matter. Because Uttar Pradesh, Bihar and West Bengal are not just three states, but these three states together have 162 seats in the Lok Sabha, which decides who will rule the throne of the country?
That’s why it is being said that after Nitish Kumar, Tejashwi Yadav, Mamta Banerjee and Akhilesh Yadav come together completely, 80 Lok Sabha seats coming from Uttar Pradesh, 40 coming from Bihar and 40 coming from West Bengal 42 seats i.e. 162 Lok Sabha seats in total are sure to be affected, because out of these 162 seats, NDA alliance won 121 seats in 2019 Lok Sabha elections (JDU was part of NDA alliance in 2019 Lok Sabha elections). But despite Nitish Kumar leaving the NDA and joining the Grand Alliance, this figure of NDA MPs is 105 MPs.
In the 2019 Lok Sabha elections, the BJP alone won 62 seats in Uttar Pradesh and its alliance partner Apna Dal won 2 seats. BSP got the maximum benefit of alliance with SP and elected 10 of its MPs while SP got only 5 Lok Sabha seats in its account and Congress got only one seat.
On the other hand, out of 42 seats in West Bengal, in 2019, TMC won 22 and BJP won 18 seats. 2 was received by the Congress. On the other hand, in the 2019 Lok Sabha elections, the BJP alliance got 39 out of 40 seats in Bihar, out of which 17 were in BJP’s account, 16 in JDU’s account and 6 in LGP’s account. However, despite JDU going with RJD in Bihar, even today the NDA alliance has 23 MPs in Bihar.
However, there are still many hurdles in coming together of these four parties. Nitish Kumar and Lalu Yadav have got together in Bihar, but the question is what will be the role of Congress in this new alliance? Will Mamta Banerjee be ready to give center stage to Congress as Nitish Kumar wants? Will Akhilesh Yadav want to forge an alliance with Congress again? Or will these four parties contest the elections completely isolating the Congress? The story of this alliance will not be complete without finding answers to these questions. It is because of these contradictions that the BJP is not considering this alliance as a big threat for itself, but the top leaders of the party are constantly keeping an eye on these developments because the political situation can change at any time.
