Yogi government is engaged in empowerment of women in Uttar Pradesh through Mission Shakti campaign.

Mission Shakti has been organized for the last three years on the auspicious occasion of Navratri under the guidance of State Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath with the aim of promoting women safety and women respect and making women self-reliant and empowered. On this Navratri, Yogi government launched the fourth phase of Mission Shakti Abhiyan. Like everyone else, the Chief Minister of the state Yogi Adityanath also observes a fast for nine days during Navratri and performs Kanya Puja as per tradition at Gorakhnath Peeth. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath not only worships girls but is also determined to make the lives of the daughters of the state safe, prosperous and empowered. Yogi ji wishes that the lives of the daughters of the state should be in accordance with the nine forms of Maa Durga and they should get adequate respect and honor.

Due to the Yogi government’s Mission Shakti Abhiyan and Kanya Puja being performed by them, the opposition of the state is also feeling the pressure and to reduce this pressure, the Congress Party has also decided to get Kanya Puja done under the false garb of soft Hindutva. Is. Inspired by the success of various programs being run by the Bharatiya Janata Party government for women and daughters, Congress leader Priyanka Gandhi had given the slogan “I am a girl and can fight” in the last elections, but due to the contradictions in words and actions. This slogan failed miserably.

After the passage of Nari Shakti Vandan Act-2023, which gives 33 percent reservation to women in Parliament and Assemblies, now BJP has planned to hold a big conference in every assembly constituency and under the Mission Shakti Abhiyan, there will be centers and centers for women and daughters. A campaign is also being run to disseminate various schemes run by the state government. After the coming of Yogi government, various schemes have been started in the state for the safety of women and daughters and they are also being run smoothly.

As a result of various schemes of the government, today the income of women in the state has become higher than before. In the last financial year, the income of rural women was Rs 8,936 between July and September and increased to more than Rs 20 thousand between April and June 23. According to the Central Government’s Periodic Labor Force Survey, the income of women in Uttar Pradesh is continuously increasing. According to the rural women labor force participation rate, this rate was about 20 percent in the year 2018-19, which has increased to 56 percent in 2022-23.

In the fourth phase of Mission Shakti, the government is focusing on connecting rural and urban women with livelihood activities through various schemes. The fourth phase of the mission has been dedicated to women’s health. In this, women are being given information about schemes related to their health. Women above 30 years of age are being given free consultation for diabetes, high blood pressure, breast and cervical cancer. A decision has also been taken to set up a special nutritional rehabilitation center for malnourished girls of the state.

Yogi ji is very conscious and strict regarding the safety of the daughters of the state. He has given a clear message on many occasions that if any person within the state borders tries to breach the security of our sisters and daughters in any way, then such elements will find Yamraj waiting at the next intersection. The effect of Yogi ji’s warning has also been visible. In Sarju Express, miscreants who misbehaved and molested a female police officer were encountered. For the safety of daughters, the Yogi government had formed Anti Romeo Squad for the first time in its very first meeting, due to which hundreds of criminals have been caught till now. Anti Romeo Squad has wreaked havoc on the streets. The police is now taking prompt action to save daughters who are victims of love jihad. On behalf of the Yogi government, panic buttons along with CCTV cameras are also being installed in the city buses of the Transport Department for the safe travel of the daughters, women and elderly people of the state.

While inaugurating the Mission Shakti campaign, Chief Minister Yogi said that due to Mission Shakti, success has been achieved in curbing criminals and punishing them. Addressing the Mahila Rakshi Dal, he said that Mission Shakti Abhiyan was started in 2020 for women’s respect, safety and self-reliance. Under this, recruitment of 20 percent women personnel in the state police was ensured. From 1947 to 2017, the number of women personnel in UP Police was around ten thousand, which has now increased to 40 thousand. Yogi said that now Mahila Beat will go from village to village and work on making women aware.

Under Mission Shakti Abhiyan, a campaign is being run across the state to make women aware of their rights. Child Rights Week, Shakti Samvad, Swavalamban Camp and Mission Workshops are being organised. A comprehensive campaign is also being run to provide pension to destitute and widowed women in the state. Daughters of poor families are being married in the state. At the same time, an amount of Rs 15 thousand is being given by the government to the daughters of the state for their studies till graduation. Pink booths have been made at various places for the safety of daughters. Crores of rupees are made for the Chief Minister Kanya Sumangalam Scheme. National Nutrition Campaign program is also being run keeping women and daughters in mind. Girls are also being taught self-defense skills like Judo-Karate etc. in schools and colleges. Girls are also being told about their legal rights in colleges to stay safe.

Poor women, who had to fetch water from long distances, are getting the benefits of the Central Government’s very ambitious scheme ‘Har Ghar Nal Se Jal Yojana’. Today, Muslim women who have suffered triple talaq in the state are also being given pension for their maintenance.

Under the leadership of Yogi ji, the new Uttar Pradesh of new India is telling a new story of success. The women of the state are now getting the benefits of every government scheme in 100 percent transparent manner. Under the Centre’s “Beti Bachao Beti Padhao” scheme, 1.90 crore daughters were made aware in UP. Under Mission Shakti Abhiyan, 8.99 crore women have been made aware. There are 1,89,014 Anganwadi centers operating in the state and now free cooked food is also going to be provided in all these centers to eradicate malnutrition. So far, 10 lakh self-help groups have been formed in the state for women’s welfare and one crore women have been included in them. More than two lakh women have been benefited under PM Swanidhi Yojana. After the coming of Yogi government, till now more than 1.5 lakh women have got jobs in government jobs in the state. Today the daughters of the state are creating new success stories in every sphere of life. Recently, in the Asian Games also, the state’s daughter Parul Chaudhary created a record by winning the gold medal. Dr. Ritu of Lucknow played an important role in the success of India’s Chandrayaan.

It is said in our scriptures that “Yatra Naryastu Pujyante Ramante Tatra Devata” i.e. where women are respected, there the gods reside and today the Chief Minister of the state Yogi Adityanath is doing the same thing. The Uttar Pradesh government has chosen the medium of social message as Mission Shakti along with the worship of nine forms of Maa Durga, its positive effect is visible. Today, all the women and daughters of the state are feeling safe and are saying, “If Yogi ji is there in UP, then why fear?”
