He said that under the guidance of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Uttar Pradesh has set itself a target of becoming a trillion dollar economy. The ‘Uttar Pradesh Global Investors Summit’ to be organized on February 10-12 is an important step in this direction. Extensive investment will create a large number of employment opportunities, which will directly benefit our youth.
Adityanath said that Kanpur is an important point of the Uttar Pradesh Defense Corridor. Due to this, new possibilities have been created for the cottage, small and medium industries here. The youth here are getting new employment opportunities. He said that Etawah, Kannauj, Barabanki, Farrukhabad districts have huge potential for food processing units. Potatoes and tomatoes grow well here. The state government has implemented a new food processing policy.
Tell the MP/MLA investors about it. The government will provide all necessary resources including land. The Chief Minister said that taking inspiration from foreign and domestic investor road shows, various districts organized investor conferences with their own efforts. Investment proposals worth thousands of crores are being received in these district level investor conferences. Barabanki alone has received investment proposals of over Rs 800 crore.
All the districts of Ayodhya, Vindhyachal and Kanpur divisions should make similar efforts. There are opportunities here for every sector. In the meeting, the people’s representatives also apprised about the regional aspirations regarding the new development works and also gave their proposals in this regard. The Chief Minister also directed the Chief Minister’s Office to take immediate action on these proposals of MPs and MLAs.
