Rane, while attending the MSME Mela-cum-Exhibition organized at Dussehra Maidan in Kota in Rajasthan, urged the youth to set up industries. The local unit of Laghu Udyog Bharti, Laghu Udyog Sangh and the Ministry of MSME have jointly organized this exhibition.
Union Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME) Minister Narayan Rane on Saturday asked the youth to work hard to set up industries and make Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s dream of making the country the third largest economy by 2030 a reality. Rane, while attending the MSME Mela-cum-Exhibition organized at Dussehra Maidan in Kota in Rajasthan, urged the youth to set up industries. The local unit of Laghu Udyog Bharti, Laghu Udyog Sangh and the Ministry of MSME have jointly organized this exhibition.
In this exhibition, about 400 shops of MSME products have been set up by various industrial and startup units from across the country. Rane said that the aim of organizing the MSME fair is to bring economic progress and industrial revolution in Kota. Kota is already considered a coaching hub. He called upon the local entrepreneurs to increase the number of existing 36 thousand MSMEs in Kota to about 60 thousand by next year.
He informed that there are 6.30 crore MSMEs present across the country. Lok Sabha Speaker and Kota-Bundi MP Om Birla was also present on the occasion. Describing the MSME units as the engine of economic growth of the country, Birla said that it is the most employment generating sector. He said that MSMEs can play an important role in improving the standard of living of the people and providing employment to them.
