Zahra Khan wants to follow the footsteps of mother Salma Aga

Mumbai Actress and singer Zahra Khan recalls her journey this year, calling it ‘incredible’ and how she wants to be successful like her mother Salma Agha.
Zahra is the daughter of Pakistani singer and actress Salma Agha, who worked in both Pakistani and Indian film industries in the 80s and 90s.
Zahra’s father Rehmat Khan was a squash player. Salma is known for her work in films like ‘Nikah’, ‘Unche Log’, ‘Jungle Ki Beti’, ‘Paanch Faulaadi’ and others. Zahra is known for hit songs like ‘Kusu Kusu’ and ‘Dance Meri Rani’.
The diva has started planning for the new year, the years to come.
Zahra said, I have grown every year since I entered the industry as a professional playback singer in March 2021. I am extremely grateful for this experience. Since then there has been no looking back, every year has been more wonderful professionally. I am grateful to God for blessing me to do more work.
Zahra shares that everything she wished for seems to be effortlessly coming true, and she is excited to see what 2024 holds.
She said, ‘I will complete the shooting of my film ‘Vrishabh’ by March, its release will be at the end of 2024. My goal is to work on scripts that showcase a new side of me with each film. My musical journey continues with this goal. I hope to achieve what my mother achieved both as an actor and singer.
On how 2023 has been for her personally and professionally, Zahra said, ‘It’s been an incredible year, which started with her collaboration with Edward Maya on ‘Love Stereo’ in early January. Embarking on my first Entertainers Tour with a remarkable team including Akshay Kumar, Mouni Roy, Disha Patani, Stebin, Apar and Sonam was a highlight, fostering amazing friendships and bringing positive energy into my life.’
She further said that working on ‘Love Stereo’ was a great experience, especially dancing with Tiger Shroff.
Talking about the professional front, she will soon be seen in the pan India film ‘Vrishabh’.
