2000 notes will be changed in all banks from tomorrow, RBI issued guidelines

New Delhi (Best Hindu News): From tomorrow the process of exchanging 2000 notes will start in all the banks of the country. The Reserve Bank of India has issued a guideline for all banks today. In this, the banks have been asked to arrange shady places and water for the people in view of the heat. Keep a daily account of how many notes were exchanged and how many were deposited.
On the other hand, on the closure of 2000 rupee notes, RBI Governor Shaktikanta Das said that the purpose of bringing 2000 rupee notes of RBI has been fulfilled. We have taken this step as per the policy itself. In Mumbai, RBI Governor Shaktikanta Das said on the withdrawal of Rs 2000 note from circulation that four months time has been given and people can easily change the note. 4 months is the time to take this matter seriously. There is a lot of time to change the notes, don’t consider the ban imposed for changing old notes as a problem.
We have given 4 months time. Change notes easily. Avoid going to the bank immediately so that there is no crowd. We have given the deadline so that people take it seriously. After September 30, we will take a decision on those who will not be able to deposit the notes by the deadline. Reserve Bank of India has instructed all the banks to maintain the data of 2000 rupee notes deposited daily.
Earlier, the State Bank had issued a guideline on Sunday to change the 2000 note. India’s largest bank had said that no ID is required to exchange notes. No form will have to be filled. 10 notes can be changed at a time.
Please tell that on May 19, RBI announced the closure of 2000 rupee notes. RBI has asked to exchange such notes in banks or deposit in accounts by 30 September. The bank had said that the 2000 note would still be legal.
