7th Pay Commission: Central government can give a big gift to government employees before Diwali. It is being told that there will be increase in dearness allowance of government employees during the festive season (DA Hike) is planning to do. At present, central employees get about 42 percent dearness allowance. This can be increased by about three percent. After this, employees will get 45 percent dearness allowance. In such a situation, there can be a direct increase of three percent in the salary of the employees. Let us tell you that the dearness allowance of central employees is revised twice a year. Earlier, DA of employees was increased by four percent on March 24. This came into effect from January 1, 2023. Earlier, employees used to get 38 percent dearness allowance. But, after the increase of four percent, dearness allowance became 42 percent. This time also the employees are demanding an increase of four percent. However, only three percent growth is expected. Whenever DA is increased by the government, it will be effective from July 1, 2023.
How is DA of employees decided?
Inflation rate for determining DA of central employees (Inflation Rate) is seen. As much as inflation is. The DA of central employees is expected to increase by the same amount. Dearness allowance of employees is decided twice in a year. Once on 1st January and second time on 1st July. The DA standard is prepared on the basis of CPI-IW data. More than one crore employees and pensioners will get benefits
By giving dearness allowance to the employees during festivals by the Central Government, about one crore employees and pensioners will benefit from it. At present there are 47.58 lakh central employees and about 69.76 lakh pensioners. However, no official announcement has been made yet by the Central Government regarding DA. Considering the demand of the employees, it is understood that dearness allowance may increase till Diwali.

This allowance value changes at regular intervals according to the change in inflation rate during life.
