A 91-year-old woman was killed in Russian shelling on residential areas in Ukraine’s southern Kherson region. Ukrainian officials gave this information on Monday. The overnight shelling left a high-rise building on fire, blowing out its windows and reducing some of its apartments to rubble, according to video footage posted by Kherson Governor Alexander Prokudin.
According to her daughter, who was living with the woman on the ninth floor, her mother died when an apartment wall fell on her. Prokudin said a Russian shell hit a public bus in Kherson on Monday afternoon, wounding seven people. He shared pictures of a broken bus with blood stains on the floor.
