During the hour-long meeting at the Prime Minister’s residential office, the BAPS delegation discussed with Modi the global significance of the temple and its alignment with his vision for India’s spiritual leadership on the global stage.

As stated in a release issued by the temple authorities, “The discussion revolved around the importance of the Abu Dhabi temple for global harmony and Modi’s vision for India’s spiritual leadership on the global stage.”

Recalling the memories of Pradhan Swami Maharaj and his centenary celebrations, Prime Minister Modi prayed for the health of BAPS President Mahant Swami Maharaj.

In a heartfelt gesture, a personal invitation from Mahant Swami Maharaj was presented to Modi, describing him as “Pramukh Swami Na Priya Putra Modi Saheb” or “Pramukh Swami Maharaj’s dearest son, Modiji”. Prime Minister Modi lauded the key individuals, volunteers and supporters of the BAPS Hindu Temple Project in Abu Dhabi.
