Mumbai: There is a state of ups and downs in the stock market. The rupee depreciated against the US dollar on strengthening of the American currency. BSE Information Technology was the best performing sector after the trade on Wall Street. It gained more than 1% led by KPIT Technologies and LTIMindtree Limited. Power sector was the worst performing sector in BSE Metal. Shares of Adani Transmission and Adani Green Energy (Adani Green Energy Share Price) closed at 5 per cent upper circuit.

At 10:20 am, the BSE Sensex was down 0.04% at 57,902. At the same time, the Nifty 50 index fell 0.15% to the level of 17,052. On Sensex, Infosys, Tata Consultancy Services and Power Grid Corporation of India were top gainers. While Bajaj Finance, Bajaj Finserv and Tata Steel Bazar were among the top losers.

Top BSE Smallcap gainer TTK Healthcare Ltd. shares rallied over 12%. At the same time, there has been a lot of buying in the shares of ITI Limited and Dynamic Products Limited.
