After Taiwan, earthquake occurred in Japan, intensity was 6.3, tremors felt in China too

After Taiwan, tremendous earthquake tremors were felt in Japan also on Thursday 4th April. The earthquake that occurred on April 4 had a magnitude of 6.3 on the Richter scale. These tremors have been felt on the east coast of Honshu, Japan. This earthquake was so strong that its tremors were felt even in China. A day before the earthquake in Japan, there was an earthquake of 7.2 magnitude in Taiwan in which many buildings were damaged. Nine people died in this earthquake.

Regarding this earthquake, the European-Mediterranean Seismological Center informed that an earthquake occurred in the eastern part of Honshu island of Japan, whose intensity was 6.3. Let us tell you that Japan is made up of four major islands which include Hokkaido, Honshu, Shikoku and Kyushu. Tokyo and other major cities of Japan are located in Honshu. According to the centre, the epicenter of the earthquake was 32 kilometers below the ground. Earlier, earthquake tremors were felt in Taiwan as well as Japan, the intensity of which was 6.

Tsunami alert in Japan

Tsunami alert has also been issued in Japan after Wednesday’s earthquake in Taiwan. Tsunami alert has been issued in Okinawa province of Japan. After the alert was issued, people have been instructed to stay away from the elements. Local people have been instructed to go to higher places. Waves rising up to three meters have also been seen off the southwest coast of Japan. Japan was most affected by this earthquake, while its tremors were also felt in the Philippines and China.
