There is a lot of buzz in the pulses sector about the recently launched e-portal by NCCF (National Cooperative Consumers Federation of India) and NAFED (National Agricultural Cooperative Marketing Federation of India). This portal was launched under the guidance of Honorable Union Home and Cooperation Minister Shri Amit Shah.
This initiative is gaining momentum and farmers are joining the e-portal to purchase their produce. So far, registrations are coming from Maharashtra, Karnataka and Madhya Pradesh.
Many Primary Agricultural Credit Societies (PACS) have registered on the portal to enable the farmers under them. (PACS) play an important role in rural credit and agricultural development, and their active participation in such initiatives can contribute to the success of agricultural programs.
