International aid groups have warned of a worsening humanitarian crisis after Israel cut off supplies of food, water, fuel and electricity to Gaza’s 2.3 million people and restricted the flow of supplies from Egypt.
Israel said on Thursday that nothing would be allowed in Gaza until Hamas militants free the 150 hostages taken during their attack.

At least 2,700 people from both sides have been killed in this conflict. Israel’s Energy Minister Israel Katz said on social media that not a single light switch or water tap would be turned on until the Israeli hostages are released. Along with this, not a single fuel truck will be able to enter.
