Air India: Air India changed logo and design, people reacted on social media

Air India: India’s oldest airline Air India on Thursday redesigned its logo and aircraft during a function in New Delhi. The Tata Group airline said its new identity will be launched with the all-new Airbus SE A350 jet arriving later this year.

The Tata Group airline has now ditched the red arched window and donned an attractive livery, with the tail fin painted in gold, red and purple. Also the red and gold underbelly will be emblazoned with its name in bold.

The company’s CEO Campbell Wilson said at the event that the new look designed by the future brand will elevate Air India’s rank in global aviation. There have been various reactions on social media on the new people of Air India.

Senior Congress MP Shashi Tharoor wrote that we will get used to the new look of Air India, which has received mixed reviews. Tata Sons Chairman N Chandrasekaran said the new logo symbolizes the pinnacle of the Golden Window, a historically used window. It will create unlimited possibilities, progressiveness and self-confidence.
Earlier this year, Air India had placed an order of 470 aircraft from Airbus and Boeing for $70 billion. The deliveries of the new aircraft will start from November this year.
