Air India has launched a new premium economy class to provide passengers a better flying experience including better in-flight services and on-ground convenience. It will feature dedicated check-in counters, priority baggage handling and boarding and an exclusive cabin product for passengers traveling in premium economy.
Presently this facility is available in selected routes.
Let us tell you that this premium economy class of Air India will be available on select routes operated by its fleet of Boeing 777-200LR aircraft. These routes will include flights operating between Bengaluru-San Francisco, Mumbai-San Francisco and Mumbai-New York. The airline plans to expand the service to more routes in the future.

Talking about this premium economy class, it has 48 leather-upholstered memory foam seats with 19-inch width, 38-inch pitch, 5-inch recline and adjustable leg rest and footrest, providing extra legroom for added comfort during the flight. Does Passengers will also receive a complimentary TUMI amenity kit including flight socks, eye mask, lip moisturizer and pen, as well as noise-canceling headphones for use during the flight.
