In his reply, he said that the PTI chief had requested the bureau to shift the hearing to June 8 (tomorrow) as he is already scheduled to appear before the Islamabad High Court.
Bushra Bibi, wife of PTI chairman Imran Khan, on Wednesday responded to a notice issued by the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) in the Al-Qadir Trust case and said she was not aware of the agreement between the United Kingdom’s national crime branch. The accountability watchdog had directed Bushra Bibi and the PTI chief to appear at its Rawalpindi office on June 7 (today) with documents related to Al-Qadir University’s registration, donation and other details. The Al-Qadir Trust case alleges that the PTI chief and his wife received billions of rupees and hundreds of kanals of land from Bahria Town Limited, which was returned to the country by the UK during the previous PTI government.
In his reply, he said that the PTI chief had requested the bureau to shift the hearing to June 8 (tomorrow) as he is already scheduled to appear before the Islamabad High Court. Bushra Bibi further stated that the donations made to the Al-Qadir University Project Trust were not ‘hidden under cover’, but are genuine donations, made exclusively for the benefit of the Al-Qadir University Project Trust.
He stressed that “all donations made by Bahariya Town Limited (including land, buildings, money, etc.) are for the exclusive use and benefit of the Al-Qadir University Project Trust, and not for the use or benefit of any individual in any way.” For profit. Bushra BV said that I have no personal knowledge of any matter related to the proceedings between the NCA of UK and the Malik Riaz family.
