All Nepali students stranded in Israel sent to safe places: Government

The Nepal government said on Tuesday that all Nepali students present in Israel have been sent to safe places. A day before this, Nepal’s Foreign Ministry had said that 10 Nepalese citizens have died and four others have been injured in Israel in rocket attacks by Palestinian terrorist group Hamas.
Hamas launched attacks in southern Israel on Saturday, killing at least 1,000 people, including soldiers. The Foreign Ministry confirmed in a statement that all Nepali students in Israel “have been shifted to a safe place.”
“We have successfully evacuated almost all the students to safe areas with the assistance of the Israeli army,” ministry spokeswoman Seva Lamsal said. As per the information available with me, more than 50 students were shifted safely by nightfall.
