Internet Desk. Even though elections are to be held in America after a year, political activities have already started there too. Republican candidate and Indian-origin US presidential hopeful Vivek Ramaswamy continued his proposals for drastic policy changes, saying he would support ending birthright citizenship for children of illegal immigrants in the US.
According to media reports, the second debate of the Republican Party for the 2024 presidential election was held in California where Ramaswamy was seen sharing the stage with Florida Governor Ron DeSantis and former Ambassador to the United Nations Nikki Haley.
According to reports, Ramaswami was asked what legal basis he would use to deport undocumented immigrants and their children of American origin from the country, to which Ramaswami replied referring to the 2015 resolution. Under which the then candidate Donald Trump had promised to end birthright citizenship.
