According to the data, India’s smartphone manufacturing will depend on four percent imports in the year 2022-23, which was 78 percent dependent on imports in terms of revenue in the year 2014-15. 99.2 percent of the smartphones sold in India are manufactured in the country. At the same time, smartphone exports have increased by 100 percent to $ 11.1 billion in 2022-23 compared to the previous year.
