There was also talk of targeting the venue of the G20 summit i.e. Bharat Mandapam and the hotels where foreign delegates stay.

According to sources associated with security agencies, Pannu was taking the help of Philippines-based gangster Manpreet Singh Pita in all this. Manpreet Singh Pita is a very close friend of Canada-based gangster Arsh Dalla. But even before this, on August 11, NIA deported Manpreet Singh Pita and his brother Manjeet from Philippines and brought them to India.
