BJP is taking new allies along with it in UP, but how will it distribute seats?

In Uttar Pradesh, the Bharatiya Janata Party is increasing its clan, but the problem in front of it is that it is not able to understand how to satisfy its allies in the matter of seat distribution after the alliance. Its allies are staking more than expected claims for Lok Sabha seats. While BJP’s old ally Apna Dal is claiming five seats, Nishad Party’s claims are even bigger. It seems from his words that he too is staking his claim for four-five seats. On the other hand, Om Prakash Rajbhar of Suheldev Bhartiya Samaj Party also has his hopes regarding the Lok Sabha seats. To satisfy Omprakash Rajbhar, the BJP may give him a place in the cabinet expansion of the Yogi government, while his son may get a Lok Sabha ticket. Apart from this, Om Prakash Rajbhar is expected to get two to three Lok Sabha seats.

Nishad Party’s National President and Fisheries Minister Dr. Sanjay Nishad, who is preparing to contest elections in alliance with BJP, says that his Nishad Party is ready to contest elections on 37 Lok Sabha seats across the country. Sanjay Nishad is claiming to contest the election on his own symbol. He has demanded from the BJP high command to give us all the seats on which the BJP had lost in the 2019 elections. We will show them by winning.

Apart from Uttar Pradesh, Nishad Party is expanding in other states as well, which will strengthen the party and in future, the party will contest elections in other states as well. Party President Sanjay Nishad said that he was on a visit to Chhattisgarh’s capital Raipur last day. There held a meeting with Nishad Party workers regarding the expansion of the party, as well as attended the Kevat Sammelan organized by Nishad Party.

On the other hand, according to sources, Apna Dal President Anupriya Patel has presented the claim on at least five seats in front of the BJP leadership. Of these, Anupriya herself is the MP from Mirzapur. Apart from this, demands have also been made for Pratapgarh, Ambedkar Nagar, Fatehpur and Jalaun seats. The party believes that when there is talk of giving two to three seats to other allies with 6 and 8 MLAs, then Apna Dal with 13 MLAs should get at least five seats. Apna Dal also wants to change Sonbhadra seat this time. In 2019, this seat was given in Apna Dal’s quota and Pakori Lal Kol is the MP on it. If this happens, Cole will be out of the fray. The party leadership wants to replace Sonbhadra with a Kurmi-dominated seat in Bundelkhand. By the way, the first choice of the party is Jalaun. Apart from this, the party’s claim is also on Pratapgarh. This seat was held by Apna Dal in 2014, but in 2019 this seat was taken back by BJP and Apna Dal’s own MLA Sangamlal Gupta contested on this seat. This time there is a claim again on this seat.

It is said that in a meeting with the top BJP leadership in Delhi on July 18, party president Anupriya Patel has staked claim for the seats, but the decision has not been taken yet. Anupriya has also requested the BJP leaders that while deciding the seats in the Lok Sabha elections this time, the strength of the MLAs of her party should also be kept in mind. That is, they should get more seats than other allies. The BJP has also agreed to his proposal, but the number of seats Apna Dal will get will be clear later.
