BRICS cooperation is progressing steadily – Dainik Savera Times

“BRICS” currently has 10 member countries. On the other hand, there is no political objective in the expansion of BRICS. All member countries join the BRICS mechanism for the purpose of mutual benefit and win-win. Any country’s decision to postpone joining is fully respected. Some non-Western countries not only hope to join BRICS,
In fact, they are also trying to join SCO. Both BRICS and SCO have emerged under changes in the international political and economic situation. Many developing countries would like to see the emergence of non-Western cooperative organizations that represent broader international interests. After expansion, the BRICS countries now have the most extensive and largest industrial chain in the world.
The GDP of BRICS countries is one third of the world, which is more than that of the G7 countries. In 2021, BRICS countries accounted for 26.46% of the world’s area, 41.93% of population, 25.24% of GDP and 17.9% of total trade volume. After the completion of the expansion, the GDP of BRICS members will now reach US $ 28.5 trillion.
Which is 28% of the world. The 10 BRICS member countries constitute 45% of the world’s population. And the total goods trade of these countries is 21% of the world. Unlike Western clubs such as the G7, the BRICS countries represent the interests of a wider range of countries. In the future, BRICS countries will make equal efforts to promote the establishment of a more equitable global industrial cooperation mechanism, diversified energy system and monetary system.
In recent years, with the decline of hegemony, the old international order is facing challenges, and the voice of developing countries demanding change of the international system has become louder. As the world moves towards multipolarity, the BRICS countries will raise their voice on behalf of the wider developing world.
