However, the situation is still not completely normal and air services remained disrupted for the second day. Due to this, passengers across the UK are facing a lot of problems to reach their destinations, causing chaos at the airports. Hundreds of flights have been severely disrupted and thousands of passengers are stranded at the airport. The UK government said on Tuesday that the technical issue has been resolved but flights will continue to be affected as airlines struggle to accommodate stranded passengers on alternative flights on their schedules.

However, later, Mark Harper, a minister in the UK government, outright rejected the talk of any kind of cyber attack. He said a cyber attack was not behind Monday’s air traffic control glitch. The minister said there will be an independent review of what happened and a report is expected in the coming days. The system was restored on Monday afternoon and things are returning to normal but apparently there is some disruption, which will continue for people today. He said that thousands of people have been affected by this whole crisis. Also expressed hope that the airlines will rise to their responsibilities and ensure that they take the people to their destinations, put them on an alternate flight and make arrangements for food, drink and accommodation in the meantime.
