New Delhi, 29 November (HS). The wedding season has breathed new life into the bullion markets of the country. The rise in the price of gold has been going on continuously since the beginning of the wedding season. Today, the price of 24 carat gold in Chennai jumped beyond the level of Rs 64 thousand per 10 grams. Like Chennai, in most of the bullion markets of the country, 24 carat gold is trading above Rs 63,300 per 10 grams today.
Like 24 carat gold, there has been a rise in the price of jewelery i.e. 22 carat gold. In most of the bullion markets of the country, 22 carat gold has reached above the level of Rs 58,000 per 10 grams today. Due to the wedding season, there has been a huge increase in retail business in the bullion market of the country, due to which the price of gold is continuously rising. Like gold, the price of silver has increased sharply. Today silver is trading at Rs 79,200 per kg in Delhi bullion market.
In Delhi today, 24 carat gold is trading at Rs 63,530 per 10 grams, while the price of 22 carat gold was recorded at Rs 58,250 per 10 grams. Similarly, in Ahmedabad today 24 carat gold is being sold at the price of Rs 63,430 per 10 grams and 22 carat gold is being sold at the price of Rs 58,150 per 10 grams. Whereas in Chennai, the retail price of 24 carat gold was recorded at Rs 64,040 per 10 grams and the price of 22 carat gold was recorded at Rs 58,700 per 10 grams. Apart from these major cities, in Mumbai, 24 carat gold is being sold at Rs 63,380 per 10 grams and 22 carat gold is being sold at Rs 58,100 per 10 grams. Similarly, in Kolkata also, 24 carat gold has reached the level of Rs 63,380 per 10 grams and 22 carat gold has reached the level of Rs 58,100 per 10 grams.
In the bullion market of Lucknow today, 24 carat gold is being sold at the level of Rs 63,530 per 10 grams and 22 carat gold is being sold at the level of Rs 58,250 per 10 grams. In Patna, the price of 24 carat gold has increased to Rs 63,430 per 10 grams, while 22 carat gold is being sold at the level of Rs 58,150 per 10 grams. Similarly, in Jaipur, 24 carat gold is being sold at Rs 63,530 per 10 grams and 22 carat gold at Rs 58,250 per 10 grams.
Like other states of the country, gold has made a sharp jump in the bullion market of Karnataka, Telangana and Odisha. In the capitals of these three states, Bengaluru, Hyderabad and Bhubaneswar, today 24 carat gold is being sold at the level of Rs 63,380 per 10 grams and 22 carat gold is being sold at the level of Rs 58,100 per 10 grams.
