According to media reports, more than 8,500 people have been evacuated to safer places in the Monterey County of the Central Coast after the meteorological center warned. Out of this, 1,700 folk artefacts would have been stuck due to the bursting of the dam on the Pajaro river.

It rained heavily on Shanwari Pahete, there was heavy rain everywhere and the situation became worse.
