Canada: Police issues arrest warrant against Indian-origin Pawanpreet Kaur’s killer

Toronto: In a murder case in Canada, the police has issued an arrest warrant against the killer of Pawanpreet Kaur, a Canadian woman of Indian origin. This woman was shot dead. Indian-origin Canadian woman Pawanpreet Kaur lives in Bampton city of Greater Toronto Area (GTA). He was shot dead on the night of December 3, 2022. However, the killer could not be identified at the time of the incident.
Dharam Singh Dhaliwal had disappeared before the murder
Canada’s Peel Regional Police (PRP) Homicide Bureau issued a statement saying it has identified the person responsible for the shooting. He said that 30-year-old Dharam Singh Dhaliwal, a woman of Indian origin Pawanpreet Kaur, is suspected of murder. An arrest warrant has been issued against him. This is a crime of first degree murder. In a release issued by the police, it has been said that in September 2022, Dharam Singh Dhaliwal deliberately went missing, but the investigation has revealed that it was part of the plan to kill Pawanpreet Kaur.
Police has arrested two family members for the first time
In a statement issued by the police, it has been said that Dharam Singh Dhaliwal is about 5 feet 8 inches tall and weighs 170 pounds. Along with this, a tattoo is also made on his left hand. Police have warned that he may also have a dangerous weapon. He said that if Dharam Singh Dhaliwal is seen anywhere, instead of meeting the police, a call should be made immediately. Police said that earlier two members of Dharam Singh Dhaliwal’s family were arrested in New Brunswick Moncton on 18 April. They have been identified as 25-year-old Preetpal Dhaliwal and 50-year-old Amarjeet Dhaliwal. He has been accused of accessory to murder after the fact.
Was shot at the gas station on December 3
The release said that Peel Regional Police has encouraged Dharam Singh Dhaliwal to seek legal advice and present himself. Any person helping or giving shelter to Dharam Singh Dhaliwal will be charged. According to media reports, the incident took place at a gas station in the GTA city of Mississauga at around 10.40 pm on December 3, when the police received a call about shots being fired. The bullet hit Pawanpreet Kaur and she was lying on the spot because of the bullet. However, after the incident, he was taken to the hospital for first aid, but he succumbed during treatment.
