China calls for emphasis on protecting the rights and interests of elderly women

The joint speech noted that this year marks the 75th anniversary of the adoption of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, the 30th anniversary of the adoption of the Vienna Declaration and Program of Action, and the 21st anniversary of the adoption of the Madrid International Plan of Action on Aging. The joint speech appealed to the various parties to take this opportunity to remove the various difficulties faced by the elderly women and take practical measures to protect their legitimate rights and interests. China is willing to make joint efforts with all parties.
