Wu Zunyou, chief epidemiologist at the China Center for Disease Control and Prevention, said that China will not face a second wave of Covid infections in the next two to three months, as most of the population has already been infected by the virus. He warned that the spread of the epidemic could be to some extent due to people traveling during the spring festival. However, this is not expected to increase the death toll.
