According to the Chinese National Energy Bureau, renewable energy has become a new force to ensure electricity supply in China in the year 2023. The total installed capacity of renewable energy in China has continuously increased from 1.3 billion and 1.4 billion kilowatts this year to 1.45 billion kilowatts, the proportion of which accounts for the total installed power generation of the whole country.

The capacity exceeds 50 percent and historically thermal power has reached more than the installed capacity.
