China’s participation will be helpful in rebuilding trust between nations. From Brande’s perspective, many of China’s initiatives have global significance. For example, China is important in multilateral trade negotiations and intergovernmental negotiations regarding climate change. China cooperates closely with countries in the “Global South”

And plays an important role in maintaining global peace and security.
Brende also emphasizes the importance of trade as an engine of global economic growth. He believes that all countries should maintain the multilateral trading system and reduce trade barriers.

Inadequate mutual trust affects worldwide peace and security and has serious economic consequences. Brende hopes that all countries will cooperate together to tackle the most serious challenges.
