China’s efforts to strengthen the harmony between civilizations

“When I learned that Chinese President Xi Jinping had written a reply letter to us, my heart was filled with excitement and happiness. After I return to my country from China, I will apply the audit knowledge learned in China to building my country.” On July 5, Wu Na, a foreign student in the international class of the Master of Auditing at Nanjing Audit University, told a reporter from China Media Group.
Just a day earlier, Chinese President Xi Jinping sent a response letter to the international students of this master’s international class, encouraging them to strengthen exchanges with their Chinese counterparts and learn from each other .
Nanjing Audit University’s International Master’s Program in Auditing was established in 2016, and has trained more than 280 professionals for audit institutions in 76 countries along the “Belt and Road”. Over 200 of them have successfully graduated and returned to audit jobs in their respective countries.
For international students, they not only learned professional knowledge of auditing in China, but also felt the modernization of China’s national governance system and governance capabilities through field visits. In the process, he deepened his understanding of Chinese culture and national conditions, socialism with Chinese characteristics and the Chinese Communist Party, and became ambassadors of friendly exchanges between the countries.
This year marks the 10th anniversary of the presentation of the “Belt and Road” initiative. A fruitful outcome of this initiative is the training of audit master students for countries around the world, especially developing countries. In the past ten years, China has signed more than 200 cooperation documents with 151 countries and 32 international organizations. From helping young African entrepreneurs make their dreams come true, from helping poor Cambodian villages walk the “path to happiness,” to helping Sri Lankan children open a window to the world, China China has carried out various exchanges with countries involved in the initiative, and has provided a continuous driving force in the high-quality joint construction of the “Belt and Road”.
In a letter to President Xi, international students from Nanjing Audit University said they will never forget their experience in China, will always cherish their relationship with China, and strive to be ambassadors to enhance the friendship between China and their country do. China is making efforts to achieve lasting peace, promote common development and strengthen dialogue between civilizations.
