Qin reiterated Beijing’s tough stance on key concerns such as Taiwan and said China has always viewed and handled relations with mutual respect, peaceful coexistence and win-win cooperation as proposed by Chinese President Xi Jinping. The minister further said that since the beginning of this year, China-US relations have faced new difficulties and challenges and it is clear who is responsible.
In addition, China has criticized new sanctions imposed by the US on companies believed to be training China’s military pilots and helping Beijing with weapons development. Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesman Wang Wenbin called on Washington to stop abusing export control measures to hinder the operations of its companies.
