Chinese ambassador highlights China’s position in Human Rights Council – Dainik Savera Times

Chen Shu, China’s representative to the UN Geneva Office and other international organizations, delivered a speech at the 55th UN Human Rights Council Conference on March 15, introducing China’s human rights work development achievements and highlighting China’s position on this issue.

He said that China always actively participates in global human rights governance and enhances international human rights dialogue and cooperation. China has always been in favor of giving equal importance to various human rights and promoting them in a balanced manner and accelerating the implementation of economic, social, cultural rights and the right to development. In the last conference of the Human Rights Council, the economic, social and social rights presented by 80 countries including China were unanimously adopted. He said that the three big pillars of peace, development and human rights have mutual connection and support, which is essential.
