With the COP28 conference starting in Dubai, PM Modi has expressed his desire to organize the 33rd (COP33) Climate Change Summit in India. Meanwhile, PM Modi has put forward such a proposal to the 33rd Climate Change Council to be held in India in 2028 before the COP28 high-level committee in Dubai, according to ANI reports.

India committed to 3% renewable energy- PM Modi
Speaking at the inauguration of COP28 in Dubai, PM Modi said, India, since its G20 presidency, has continuously given importance to the climate issue or the spirit of ‘One Earth, One Family, One Future’. We have collectively agreed to the Green Development Agreement. We have created lifestyle elements for sustainable development and are committed to 3% renewable energy globally, PM Modi has said this time.
